TESTIMONIALS

I'm moving on the 10th, so I won't get to squeeze one more week in. Thanks so much for organizing such a great program, it's been way more fun, with much better competition, than a lot of other doubles in the area. If you happen to know any good pros in the Miami area, let me know ....Jen K

Hyacinth,I just wanted to thank you again for playing in our small event tonight!! It meant a lot to me to have you there and our members thought you were great. So thank you--I owe you one. See you tomorrow sometime....Deb

I cannot thank you enough for helping me to improve my game. Between your instruction and playing at levels that have been increasingly challenging, I have learned a great deal about how the game is supposed to be played. I have even come to make improvements in my own attempts. Both people that I play with on a regular basis and those with whom I've recently played for the first time in a long time have given me lots of comments on what they've seen as improvements. Your drills and instruction emphasizing footwork, volleying, positioning, split steps, backhand, serving, lobs, notetaking, receiving serves, 'rush and crush' and on court courtesy have been immensely helpful, to say the least. Thanks, again, and I look forward to continued success under your leadership....Ron

Hope you haven't forgotten the line dance I taught you at the tournament in Folsom. I loved your gutsy last shot in the tie breaker against Chris Shelden. Wow!.....R Price

WOW! This is perhaps arrogant of me to talk about you without knowing you at all, but I was worried for you today. As beautiful a game as you have I felt you were struggling even though you held your first two serves. Miss Purpura looked comfy on the grass and I just had a bad feeling. To see you come back from that is inspiring. I wish I could have seen it in person but Ken's (my little one) interest had run out. If we're not too much of a jinx for you we might could be there for a bit tomorrow....paul roby

CONTGRATS, HY! i saw that you did well in the tourney and gave navatna a tough match! i am so proud of you ( i know that sounds silly coming from a student!) you are seriously a wonder woman.. i have no idea how you can teach and train at the same time... yet train so WELL! you're amazing! i lost in my tourney, first round to a russian girl, but i lost 6-4, 6-3... so its not like i did TOO bad! ;o) anyway.... if my dad gets the time i would like to come down for a lesson (my serve is killing me!)... if you have time of course. but i will be in tough ciao,.....Dominique

You are my hero. You are an inspiration to me and I'm proud that we are friends. NO OIL. You rock HY, Love,....kp

Hey, I am proud of you that you kicked ass in Merion. Jana will be your next victim if she plays any more of them. That was so cool. You are awesome. What a competitor you are. i missed playing with you, but next year I will be there if you will have me. Bye- I love you, you are a cherished friend...Vincenza

Hy, Congrats on a fine performance against Jana! What an experience! I sure am gonna miss ya in Germany. I'm not at the top of my game right now, but I have 2 weeks for things to start looking up. Now that you know everyone's game, what do you think of our team? My opinion----the dream team would be you, me, Renata, and Chistine. Maybe next year, huh?...Jami

Yes, Jana will go down next year! No doubt about it. Playing her is quite an accomplishment though and something that should be memorable for you--I mean how many people can say they played a former top 10 player and won games off of her--not bad-INDEED for an injured old lady:)...and yes I know you will take her down next year. I wished I could have been there the whole week. Hopefully next year. Congrats. Caio,Tandi

I found the Sat. session very beneficial even though I did not execute your instructions the way I should have. This one class has already started me to improve my focus as you said it would. Sunday morning I played a singles match against someone I have played for years and I found myself recognizing then picking apart his weakness. I found this new found focus especially helpful when I began to to play out of control, recognizing , then attacking their weakness settled me down and my execution improved dramatically. Looking forward to joining you again....Al C.

First let me thank you for a great clinic. I knew I missed drilling but, not until Saturday did I relaize how much. I was able to implement some of your tactics on Sun. in MXD...Barbara T.

Even though the new positioning concept was uncomfortable at first, I have stayed with it during two of our team practices and really noticed the difference. I especially noted the difference when I practiced with someone who was not at your drill and was therefore playing the court differently. I'll be able to use this at the Sectional playoffs this weekend...Ann M.

Last night, I had dinner with some teachers from my district, including Reggie Day (head coach at Cabrini). We were doing a lot of name dropping, and when I mentioned your name, he glowed! He thinks that not only are you a great person (which we all know to be true), but you're an amazing player. He was raving about you, and of course, I agreed. Hope to see you soon, Happy Feet

Just wanted to tell you that you played so awesome at the grass courts at Merion. Congratulations on the singles... it was a joy to watch you play so well...Lu F.

Congrats on your sweep of the grasscourts...you are a superstar! Thanks for making me so proud...you're the best!..Peggy C

Congratulations on two thrilling wins on the grass! Watching you play this tournament is one of the highlights of my summer. And...you have only the nicest friends. I'm so thrilled to be included in that group...Carol F.

Congratulations on winning Merion, you are the only one who could beat that Japanese player, she's a really good player...Carolyn N.

Good for you--the heck with Dodo--you're chasing Pete now!....Laura C.

I can't say "thanks" enough for you driving all the way out to help us with our Sales Conference presentation. You were such a hit with the guys. I was at breakfast the last day of the conference with the Aussies and they were raving about you still! Plus, Ken Merritt and Steve Davis were totally impressed by you and your support...thanks for making the Prince National Team look so good!...Peg C.

Hi Hy, our apologies for not being in touch. The team is 3 and 0 in the Central league and they lost one game to Haverford. Jake seems to be learning how to accommodate and work successfully with a doubles partner and manages to be aggressive and at times just respondent when appropriate. He doesn't want me to come to his games....yet. Whatever you tweaked, you tweaked well! I will pass along your email to Jake and I did tell him that you called. Thanks for keeping in touch. You really are the real deal Hy and we both appreciated your passion......Wendy B.

I received this letter as part of an e-mail from the a 'flat out' super sister as well as the worlds' greatest and a 'first class' tennis pro, Hyacinth.....Ron B.

I saw your clinic at the Middle States Conference in Hershey. Would you ever be interested in doing a clinic in the Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg area for a ladies 4.0 tennis team?...Diane N.

EXCUSE ME MRS. BUTTKICKER OVER THERE... BUT I HAVE SOME AMAZING NEWS!!! I HAVE BEEN KICKING MAJOR BOOTY OVER HERE! I WON A TOURNAMENT!!! Ok, I know it's only a dorky little DR, but I won the JCPT tournament at Methacton high. I played 14s, but I think next time I might even try for 16s after I play this SR this upcoming weekend. Anyway, I miss you lots Hy and I hope your KICKING ASSSSSSSSSS!! (yes that many asses)!! haha. love ya!...Ida M

Watched all of your progress on the internet. Know that you are exhausted from the competition and from the trip, but would love to hear about it. I know that everyone at home wants to know the same thing...Jeannie M.

Hy, Diane N. of the West Shore 4.0 team met you somewhere and was very much impressed. Thought you would be great for a clinic for our team which I captain. Please let me know if you are available anytime soon and interested. Thanks..Gale B.

She is a super dynamic person and tennis pro. I am honored to work out with her and highly recommend Hy to anyone who want to improve their tennis game!..Ron B.
